The HealthMonitor takes part in health monitoring activities in order to enhance the generation, dissemination and use of health information in policy making. By supporting evidence-informed policy making, HealthMonitor wishes to promote the health of the Hungarian population and a more efficient use of public and private resources. The HealthMonitor promotes the Hungarian health system reform, the development of related fields and the health industry by monitoring and analyzing the health status and health needs of the Hungarian population, the peformance of the health system and its capacities as well as disseminating international best practices.

In order to do so HealthMonitor applies for international and national funding in collaboration with public institutes, civil organizations and economic actors and implements research and policy analysis projects together with these organizations.
